Assembly (continued)

Step 1:

Ensure there is enough room to lay out all parts. Carefully unpack all parts and hard-

ware and check that everything is present and undamaged. It is helpful to have more than
one person available for assembly.

Step 2

: Loosely fasten side assembly [A] to mattress support rail [B] using hex head bolts [I]

and hex nuts [J]. Hex nuts should be on support rail side. Use (1) bolt and (1) nut per con-
nection. Repeat this step for each side of bed. Note: for some models, this step may be com-
pleted before shipping. Tighten bolts and nuts fully once all fasteners are in place.

Step 3

: Loosely fasten side assemblies to shelf rear and shelf front using lag bolts [G] and

flat washers [L], (3) lag bolts per side with a washer on each lag bolt.

Do not yet fully

tighten lag bolts.

Note: lower washer (L) may not fit
when lag screw hole is drilled close
to wheel. It is acceptable to remove
this washer if necessary.
