Three TracVision A5/M3 12V Receivers
•
To connect two additional TracVision A5/M3 12V
receivers, you will need
two
Second TracVision
A5/M3 Receiver Kits (KVH part number
02-1340). Each kit includes a splitter with a
frequency range of 40-2150 MHz with one port
DC passive.
•
In this diagram, receiver #1 is the master receiver.
Receiver #1 must be turned on in order to use
receiver #2 or receiver #3.
•
The remote control supplied in the Second
TracVision A5/M3 Receiver Kit is programmed
with remote ID code “002”. To prevent “cross
talk” between the second and third receiver
remote controls, you can program the third
receiver’s remote control for ID code “003”. Refer
to the instructions in
Section 3-4, “Controlling
Multiple Receivers,” on page 3.11
.
•
All three receivers must be activated for
DIRECTV service. To activate the additional
receivers under the same account, call KVH’s
Activation Department at 866-551-8004. Be sure to
tell the representative that you need to add
additional receivers to your account.
•
The Antenna status light on receiver #2 and
receiver #3 will remain red at all times. This is
normal. Only receiver #1, which is connected
directly to the antenna, can monitor antenna
status.
