Wall Mount
EN
5. Pre-drill 8mm holes in each location marked on the studs.
6. Place the plate on the wall and align the installation holes with the holes drilled out.
7. In each of those points insert a lag bolt (J) with a washer (L) into the wall.
8. Firmly tighten the bolt, turning the socket wrench clockwise.
CAUTION:
Do not over tighten, as this may damage the wall. Avoid excessive torque.
CAUTION:
Do not let go of the wall plate until it is properly mounted on the wall and
secured.
1-2. Installing in concrete/bricks
WARNING
• When installing on cinder blocks, make sure you have at least 3.5cm of actual con-
crete thickness where the holes for the anchors will be made. Do not drill into joints!
Be sure to mount in a solid part of the block - usually at least 2.5cm from the side of
the block. In order to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void
or a cavity, use an electric drill on slow setting instead of a hammer drill.
• The installer is responsible for ensuring that the supporting wall will hold the com-
bined load of the mount and the attached display and components.
CAUTION:
Use concrete anchors when installing in concrete. Use six bolts to screw
the wall plate in: four at the top and two at the bottom.
1. First, place the wall plate in the desired location on the wall. Adjust the position of
the plate using a level.
2. Mark six installation holes for the mount and place the wall plate on the wall.
3. Drill out the holes using a 8mm concrete drill bit.
4. Insert a concrete anchor (K) into each hole.
5. If necessary, gently hammer the anchors in until they are
fl
ush with the wall.
6. Once all the anchors are inserted, place the wall plate on the wall once again.
7. Insert bolt (J) with washer (L) into the wall.
8. Do not tighten the bolts until they are all in place.
