5. Troubleshooting guide
Problem

System is beeping
10 beeps
1 door/boot or bonnet is open.
Check that all doors are correctly
closed.
5 beeps at unlock
Alarm went off while system was
armed.
Contact your authorised retailer to
find the cause.
8 beeps
Wire harness connection problem/
Siren failure.
Contact your authorised retailer to
find the cause.
2 beeps
Door was incorrectly closed during
last system arming.
False alarm
Intrusion sensors are broken,
detached, or incorrectly orientated.
Check and contact your authorized
retailer.
Passive arming ON.
Read the passive arming chapter.
Deactivate passive arming (not
applicable for Belgium).
Opened window/sliding roof.
Close all windows and sliding roof.
If you wish to keep any open,
deactivate the interior movement
sensors (see chapter 2..).
Hanging clothes/dangling
accessories.
Remove them.
People/animals inside.
Deactivate the interior movement
sensors (see chapter 2..).
Defective door/bonnet/boot switch. Contact your authorized retailer.
