3-1. Using the air conditioning system and defogger

Switching between outside air and recirculated air modes

Press

.

The mode switches between outside air mode (indicator off) and
recirculated air mode (indicator on) each time the button is pressed.

If  the  ambient  temperature  drops,  the  mode  will  automatically
change  from  recirculated  air  mode  to  outside  air  mode  after  a  few
minutes. This automatic change control mode can be cancelled by
pushing and holding the button for longer than 2 seconds. The auto-
matic  change  control  mode  will  be  reactivated  if  the  “ENGINE
START STOP” switch is turned off (vehicles with smart key system)
or the engine switch is turned to the “LOCK” position (vehicles with-
out smart key system).

Recirculated  air  mode  will  auto-
matically  switch  to  outside  air
mode.  It  is  not  possible  to  return
to recirculated air mode when the
switch is on.

again will revert

to the previous air outlet mode.
