8. Troubleshooting
In the event of difficulty
If operation freezes, the screen goes blank or the unit does not function properly, try turning
the power off then back on. Alternatively, try to solve the problem using the remedies shown
below until the unit returns to normal playback mode.
Turn the car ignition off and back on again.
This guide will help you isolate the problem. If you still cannot resolve the problem, make sure
the rest of your system is properly connected or consult your authorized retailer.
8.1. Problem: No IR-function
Please check the following items:
Cause Remedy
IR-Remote
Broken Replace the IR-Remote
Obstacle Remove the obstacle
Out of range Decrease the distance from the media system
(max. 4 meters)
IR-Remote battery
- Flat Replace the battery
- Not present Insert a battery
- Incorrectly inserted Reinsert the battery
Not valid
For some discs or playing modes, certain
operations are not possible. This is not a
malfunction
No power
ACC Power turned off Turn the ACC Power on
Unit does not respond
Turn the ACC Power on/off
