Access the Speed signal wire and about 80mm from the connector bare the insulation from the wire and
solder the purple kit wire to the bared wire.
•
Insulate the soldered connection appropriately
•
Lay kit wiring back along ECU connector harness and secure with cable ties and electrical tape
(or similar) to ensure no strain on soldered connections and cabling is protected.
Step 5:
Install AUTOMATIC LOCKUP controller, relays, earth and
resistor
•
Install the resistor to the underside of the metal bracket at the upper right of the glovebox opening using
the supplied self-tapping screws with the earth wire lug under one of the screws (The bracket is visible
once the black plastic trim behind the glovebox is removed)
