9.

Once the correct cooking time and temperature have been set, press the On/Standby

button again to start the cooking process. The fan will begin to work and a fan

indicator will appear on the unit’s LCD display to indicate the cooking process has

been started.

10.  The unit will now operate on the chosen settings. The LCD display will periodically

switch between displaying the cooking time and temperature, and the unit’s built-in

timer will begin counting down the set cooking time.

11.  The settings can be adjusted at any point during the cooking time, by following the

process detailed on the Timer and Temperature Selection sections of this instruction

manual.

12.  Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the cooking time (refer to the

Settings Table). To stir the ingredients, pull the drawer out of the appliance by the

handle and shake it, then slide the drawer back into the fryer.

Tip:

To reduce the weight, you can remove the basket from the drawer and shake the

basket only. To do so, pull the drawer out of the appliance, place it on a heat-resistant

surface and press the button on the handle to lift the basket out of the drawer.

Tip:

Set the timer to half the cooking time. When the timer bell sounds, shake the

ingredients. Then, set the timer again to the remaining cooking time and resume frying.

13.  When you hear the timer bell, the set cooking time has elapsed. Pull the drawer out

of the appliance and place it on a suitable work surface.

Note:

You can also switch the appliance off manually by turning the timer control dial to

reducing the time setting.

14.  Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide

the drawer back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

15.  To remove ingredients (e.g. fries), pull the drawer out of the air fryer, place it on a

heat-resistant surface, and lift the basket out of the drawer. Do not turn the basket

upside down with the drawer still attached to it, as any excess oil that has collected

on the bottom of the drawer will leak onto the ingredients. Both the drawer and

ingredients will be very hot. Depending on the type of ingredients in the fryer, steam

may escape from the drawer so care is needed.

16.  Empty the basket into a bowl or onto a plate.

Tip:

To remove large or fragile ingredients, lift the ingredients out of the basket with a pair

of tongs.

17.  When a batch of food is ready, the air fryer is instantly ready for preparing another

batch.

Timer:

1.

The Air Fryer has a 60 minute digital timer, which can be adjusted through the unit’s

control panel.

2.

Press the + and – buttons to either side of the Timer indicator to set the required

cooking time.  The digits on the unit’s control panel will change accordingly.

3.

When the timer is set, press the On/Standby button on the unit’s control panel to

start the cooking process.

4.  When the cooking time has elapsed, the unit will emit five beeps to indicate that the

cooking has finished.

Note:

The timer will increase by increments of 1, from 01 to 60 minutes.

Temperature Selection:

1.

Press the + and – buttons to either side of the Temperature indicator to manually

select the correct temperature for each dish. Press the + button to increase the

cooking temperature, or the – button to decrease it. The digits on the unit’s control

panel will change accordingly.

2.

When the temperature is set, press the On/Standby button on the unit’s control panel

to start the cooking process.

Note:

The temperature will increase by increments of 5ºC, from 80 to 200ºC.

The table on the next page will help you to select the basic settings for the ingredients.
