• Cook meat, poultry, and any
derivatives (mince, burgers, etc.)
until the juices run clear. Cook
fish until the flesh is opaque
throughout.
• Do not wrap food in plastic film,
metal foil or polythene bags.
This will damage the grill plate
and may cause a fire hazard.
• Do not place on or near hot gas
or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
• Unplug the unit when finished
using.
• Extreme caution must be
exercised when moving an
appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
• To disconnect, turn temperature
control dial to the ‘I’ setting,
then remove plug from wall
outlet.
• Never use metal utensils, as
they will scratch the non-stick
grill/griddle plate. Instead, use
only wooden or heat-proof
plastic utensils.
• Never leave plastic utensils in
contact with the grill/griddle
plate
• After using, scrape excess food
build-up through drip hole and
into drip tray and then wipe off
any residue with a paper towel
before proceeding with next
recipe.
• Do not use oil in spray can on
a hot grill, use basting brush
dipped in oil, or use grilling
marinades. Be extremely
careful, because overheated oil
and grease can ignite.
• Keep sufficient distance from
the appliance during operation,
to avoid being scalded by
sizzling oil.
• The appliance is not intended to
be used with an external timer
or independent remote control
system.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately and
seek advice from the service
department:
