DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT

The WEEE directive, introduced in August 2006, states that all electrical items must
be recycled, rather than taken to landfill.
Please arrange to take this appliance to your local Civic Amenity site
for recycling, once it has reached the end of its life.
7 - Recycling
In order to achieve the best performance, empty the dust container and clean the
filters after each use.
1. Always remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the unit.
2. Push the dust cup release button to separate the cup from the body.
3. Shake the contents of the dust compartment into a dustbin.
4. Remove the filter unit from the dust compartment.
5. Clean the inner filter and the outer filter band. If necessary, clean the filters in
cold or lukewarm water. Dry the filters thoroughly before using the filter unit
again.
Storing the Appliance:
1. When the appliance is not in use, store in a safe, dry place, out of reach of
children.
2. DO NOT store the vacuum in direct sunlight.
