CARE AND CLEANING 

1.  Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2.  Never immerse the kettle area or cord in water, or allow moisture to contact 

with these parts.

3.  Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush 

or knife) for cleaning.

4.  To clean the filter in the spout, unlock the lid. Rinse the filter with running 

water and then dry it.

5.  Wipe the appearance of body with a mild and damp cloth or cleaner, never 

use a poisonous cleaner.

6.  Never immerse the power base in water or other liquid for cleaning.
7.  De-scale regularly, preferably at least once a month and more frequently if 

your water is very hard.

NOTE: If the appliance switches off before the water has boiled, it probably 

needs to be de-calcified.
8.  To de-scale your kettle, use white vinegar: fill the kettle with half a litre of 

vinegar. Leave to stand for 1 hour without heating

9.  Yo can also use citric acid. Boil half a litre of water, add 25g of citric acid 

and leave to stand for 15 minutes.

10. Empty your kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times.

IMPORTANT!

 

After cleaning allow to dry fully before using again. 
Do not use the appliance if damp. Ensure the appliance is completely 
clean and dry before storing.

Storage

To store your appliance:
1.  Unplug power cord from the power outlet and clean as above.
2.  Allow the appliance to dry fully.
3.  Store on a flat, dry level surface out of reach of children.
