Do not use any aggressive detergents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp objects

such as knives or spatulas for cleaning the unit.

4.

Your buffet server is now ready for normal use.

Using Your Appliance

Assembly:

1.

Make sure the buffet server is unplugged and that the temperature dial is set to the OFF or

MIN setting.

2.

Place the base on a clean, dry and level heat resistant surface.

3.

Place the frame onto the base and insert the pans into the frame.

Turning On:

Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. Switch the appliance on at the outlet. (If outlet is switchable.)

CAUTION:

The buffet server will automatically turn on when plugged into the outlet. The ON/Ready

light will illuminate red to indicate when the power is on.

Temperature Control:

The temperature dial gives you a range of heat settings between MIN and MAX.

1.

Place the prepared food into each one of the warming pans, and adjust the temperature dial

to your desired heat setting.

2.

The ON/Ready light will illuminate red to indicate when the power is on and will go off once

the desired temperature is reached.

Note:

The ON/Ready light will turn on and off in order to maintain the desired temperature.

CAUTION!

Do not leave the appliance unattended while operating and/or while it’s plugged into the

electrical outlet.

Warming Pans:

The Warming Pans can keep food hot for a long period of time, however please be aware of food

hygiene issues when keeping food warm for long periods of time.

Any meat dishes placed in the buffet server must be thoroughly cooked first. Do not place raw meat

into the buffet server.

The warming plates must not be on in excess of 4 hours as they may become very hot. Also It’s at this

point when food begins to dry out and/or the flavour changes.

CAUTION!

When using the warming function for extended periods of time, ALWAYS be careful to

ensure the unit is in the Min setting, as warming food on the Max setting for extended periods of

time will cause it to dry out and become inedible.

Turning Off:

1.

To turn off the buffet server, switch it off at the electrical outlet first. (If outlet is switchable.)

2.

Gently remove the plug from the electrical outlet.

3.

Allow the appliance time to cool before handling. (Refer to cleaning section on page 13)

Note:

It is not recommended to move the appliance when it is hot.

CAUTION!

If it is absolutely necessary to move the Buffet Server be aware that the contents of the

Warming Pans and the Base of the unit can become VERY HOT.

DO NOT

touch hot surfaces without oven gloves or other protection for hands and skin. Always use

the handles or knobs on the appliance.

Always ensure that the Temperature Dial is set to the OFF position when not in use.

Always switch off the appliance at the electrical outlet (if switchable) before removing plug from the

wall.

NEVER

place the plastic Lids of the Warming Pans directly onto the Hotplate.
