Self-Centring Guides:

Lowering the toasting lever closes the centring guides and holds the bread or

toaster food centrally in the toasting slots.

Buttons:

Cancel:   This button allows you to stop the toasting process.

Defrost:  This button allows you to defrost frozen bread.

Reheat:  This button allows you to reheat your bread without any extra

browning or toasting.

Note:

The toasting lever will not lock down unless the toaster is plugged into an

electrical outlet.

Toasting Instructions:

1.  Make sure the crumb tray is pushed all the way into the back of the Toaster

and that the toasting lever is in the UP position.

2.  Make sure no bread or any other objects are inside the toasting slots.

3.  Place the toaster on a flat, level, heat resistant surface.

4.  Plug the power cord into a mains outlet.

5.  Position the browning control dial to your desired setting. There are 7 browning

levels. Level 1 is for white and level 7 is for the darkest browning setting.

6.  Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the toasting

slots.

7.  Insert bread or toaster food into the toasting slots. One or two slices can be

toasted at a time.

8.  Lower the toasting lever until it locks into place. The Cancel button will light up,

and the self-centring guides will hold the food upright for uniform side-to-side

toasting. Once the bread is lowered into position, toasting will begin.

Tips:

To test toasting times for browning, use both toasting slots and position the

browning control dial between levels 3 and 4. Then adjust each subsequent

toasting to your preference.

Toasting one slice will come out darker then toasting two slices at once. If

toasting continuously, the bread will become darker on the next cycle.

9.  When the toast reaches the selected browning level, it will pop up

automatically.

10.  Remove the bread from the toasting slots. Caution: Use care when removing

bread as the bread and the top of the toaster will still be hot.

11.  If your toast jams, unplug the cord and move the toasting lever up and down a

few times to raise the jammed bread.

12.  To interrupt toasting, press the CANCEL button.

13.  Unplug the cord from the wall outlet when not in use.

Caution:

If the toaster starts to smoke, press the Cancel button to stop toasting

immediately.

Avoid toasting food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
