TDP-P4 Service Manual

Top Case

The top case (505-0811-xx) encloses the top half of the projector. It includes the IR lightpipe that

transfers IR signals from the remote control to the IR receiver on the controller ECA.

When you replace the top case, you must first remove the keypad from the old case, then install it in the

new top case.

Remove the following items:

Front bezel (see page 11)

Rear bezel (see page 15)

Place the unit upside-down on the bench and detach the keypad cable from its ZIF connector on

the controller ECA. The connector is adjacent to the I/O panel.
