System indicators
Touch Pad
Control buttons below the Touch Pad let you select menu
control buttons
items or manipulate text and graphics designated by the
on-screen pointer.
Power button
Press the power button to turn the computer’s power on
and off.
Internet button
Press this button to launch an Internet browser. If the
computer’s power is off, you can press this button to turn
on the computer’s power and launch the browser automati-
cally in one step.
TOSHIBA Console
Press this button to launch an application automatically.
button
The default is TOSHIBA Console.
Stereo speakers
The speakers emit sound generated by your software as
well as audio alarms, such as low battery condition,
generated by the system.
System indicators
Icons, to the right of sub LCD, light when various computer operations are in
progress.

DC IN 15V
The
DC IN
indicator glows green when DC power is
supplied from the AC power adaptor. If the adaptor’s
output voltage is abnormal or if the power supply malfunc-
tions, this indicator flashes orange.
Power
The
Power
indicator glows green when the computer is
on. If you select
Standby
from
Shut Down Windows
,
this indicator flashes orange (one second on, two seconds
off) while the comptuer shuts down.
