Inserting the memory module
CAUTION: Avoid touching the connectors on the memory module or on the
computer. Grease or dust on the connectors may cause memory access
problems.

Replace the memory slot cover.

Replace the screw and tighten it.

Turn the computer over and reconnect any cables you
removed.
Removing a memory module
If you need to remove a memory module:

Complete steps 1–5 in “"Installing additional memory
(optional)" on page 7” to shut down the computer and
expose the memory module(s).

Pull the clips away from the memory module.
The memory module pops partially out of the slot.

Carefully remove the module from the slot.

Replace the keyboard and the screws.
5
Replace the panel that contains the Power and TOSHIBA
Console buttons.

Restart the computer.
