CONNECTING TO
AN AUDIO
SYSTEM
Stereo system or radio
Cassette
recorder
For
connecting an audio system
(e.g. stereo or
hifi) a suitable cable should be
connected
to
the
EXTERNAL
IN
socket
of
the audio
system and
to
the
audio output socket
(3) of
the
computer.
To
obtain
sound,
type
BEEP on the computer
keyboard
and press the
RETURN
key.
It
should be noted
that
if
the
audio system
has
a
mode
selector,
this should be
set
to
the
MONO
position.
Where
there
is
no mode
selector,
the sound
will
be reproduced through
only
one
loudspeaker.

EXPANDING THE CAPABILITIES
OF
YOUR HX-10
The Toshiba
HX-10
is
totally
expandable, enabling
you to
add for
example disk drives
for
data
storage,
a
printer
for
letter
writing or program printouts
and
two
joysticks
for
an
added
dimension
to family
entertainment.
