3. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1) Turn off the printer power, disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet, and disconnect the AC adapter
from the printer.
2) Open the Top Cover.
3) Take off the Front Panel by removing 2 screws as shown below.
NOTE:
Keep the Front Panel for future use.
4) Remove the Printer Cover by removing 4 screws as shown below.
5) Pass the Peel-off module harness through the printer frame as shown below, and connect the harness
connector to the connector “J14” on the main board.
Note:
“J14” is the connector colored red. Do not connect the connector of the harness to any other connector as
this may cause a machine failure.
