Removing the battery from the computer

Save your work.

Power off the computer or place it in Hibernation mode
according to the instructions in

“Using Hibernation” on

page 99

Remove all cables connected to the computer.

Close the display panel and turn the computer upside
down.

If the battery release lock is in the locked position, slide it
toward the unlocked position.

Press the battery release latch to release the battery.

Pull the discharged battery out of the computer.
