Accessing the Hood
Raising the hood
1.
Lift up the handle of the rubber latches at each side
of the hood (
).

Raise the hood.
Closing the Hood
1.
Gently lower the hood onto the chassis.
2.
Secure the hood by aligning the rubber latches onto the
latch anchors at each side of the hood (
).
Lubrication
Greasing the Machine
Service Interval:
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—Grease the bearings and bushings.
Grease the machine more frequently
when using it for heavy-duty operations.
Grease Type:
Number 2 general-purpose, lithium-base
grease
1.
Use a rag to wipe the grease fitting clean so that foreign
matter cannot be forced into the bearing or bushing.
2.
With a grease gun, apply 1 or 2 pumps of grease into
the grease fittings on the machine.
3.
Wipe the excess grease off the machine.
The grease fittings are located at the 4 tie-rod ends (
