1. Move the spring loaded J-hooks out of the slot in
the rear hanger brackets on both sides of the deck
(Figure 71).

2. Remove the hardware from the front deck hangers on
both sides of the deck (Figure 72).
3. Carefully lift the deck off the rear hanger bolts and
lower the front of the mower deck to the ground
(Figure 72).

4. Raise the height-of-cut to the transport position
5. Slide the mower out from underneath the machine.

1. Remove the hair pin cotter and washer securing the
long, link bar to the frame and deck; remove the link
bar (Figure 73).
