The mow/transport switch is a normally closed proximity switch that opens when
the mow speed limiter is placed in the T

RANSPORT

position. The switch mounts

to a bracket on the footrest platform (

Figure 225

). The sensing plate for the

mow/transport switch is the mow speed limiter.

Adjusting the Mow/Transport Switch

IMPORTANT

To prevent the mow/transport switch damage, ensure that no
components contact switch through entire mow speed limiter
movement.

1. Park the machine on a level surface, set the parking brake, lower the cutting

units, shut off the engine, and remove the key from the key switch.
