Starting the Engine
1. Hold the blade control bar against the handle

2. Turn the ignition key (Figure 15) (model 20656 only)
or pull the recoil start handle (Figure 16).
Note:
When you pull the recoil start handle, keep
your fingers away from the cable on the handle.

Note:
If the mower does not start, contact an
Authorized Service Dealer.
Using the Self-propel Drive
To operate the self-propel drive, simply walk with your
hands on the upper handle and your elbows at your
sides, and the mower will automatically keep pace with
you (Figure 17).
