Traction Adjustment
1. Attention; read the
Operator's Manual —1)
Loosen the knob by turning
it counterclockwise; 2) Pull
the cable(s) away from
the engine to decrease
the traction, or push the
cable(s) toward the engine
to increase the traction;
3) Tighten the knob by
turning it clockwise.

indicated level. 2) Tip the mower forward for storage.
Setup
Important:
Remove and discard the protective plastic
sheet that covers the engine and any other plastic or
wrapping on the machine.

Unfolding the Handle
No Parts Required
Procedure
WARNING
Unfolding the handle improperly can damage the
cables, causing an unsafe operating condition.
• Do not damage the cable(s) when folding or
unfolding the handle.
• Ensure that the cable(s) are routed to the outside
of the handle.
• If a cable is damaged, contact an Authorized
Service Dealer.
1. Disengage the handle locks ( Figure 3 ).
2. Move the handle rearward to the operating position
(
