Adjusting the Discharge
Nozzle
The discharge nozzle (
) can be adjusted up
and down or from side to side to direct the flow to the
desired location.
1.
To adjust the flow distance, proceed as follows
•
Rotate the lockup handle (
) to unlock
the pivot tower.

•
Rotate the pivot tower front or back to the
desired position.
•
Tighten the lockup handle.
Note:
When the pump is mounted to the
front
of the machine, the lockup handle
should be removed and reinstalled on the
opposite side of the frame.
CAUTION
Do not move the lockup handle to the
opposite side of the frame when the
pump is mounted to the rear of the
machine.
2.
To adjust the flow direction, rotate the nozzle
handle (
) to the desired position.
Note:
The resistance on the handle nozzle
(
) may be increased or decreased by
adjusting the torque on the large nut on top of
the pivot tower.

Before Operating
1.
Measure the water depth in the lowest part of
the bunker. If the water depth is less than 63.5
mm (2–1/2 inches) (halfway up the slots on the
pump), dig a 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm x 5 to 7.6 cm (1
ft x 1 ft x 2 to 3 inches) deep hole to lower the
pump into the hole (
