
Testing the Electrical Components
For accurate resistance and/or continuity checks, electrically disconnect the
component being tested from the circuit (e.g., unplug the key switch connector
before doing a continuity check of the switch). Always check the item being
tested and the harness connector for damage or corrosion and clean or repair
if necessary.
Note:
Refer to the appropriate Yanmar engine Service manual or Troubleshooting
Manual for your machine for additional electrical component repair information.
IMPORTANT
When testing the electrical components for continuity with a
multimeter (ohms setting), ensure that you disconnect the power to
the circuit.
