Reel Drive Belt
The eFlex machines use a positive drive belt on the left side of the machine to
operate the cutting unit.
Removing the Reel Drive Belt
1. Park the machine on a level surface, turn the key switch to the O
FF
position,
and remove the key from the key switch. Disconnect the battery pack; refer
to
Connecting the Lithium Battery Pack (page 4–3)

2. Remove the reel drive cover to expose the reel drive belt (

3. Loosen the bearing housing mounting nut (
).
4. Use a 16 mm (5/8 inch) wrench, rotate the bearing housing to release tension
on the reel drive belt (
).
5. Remove the reel drive belt from the pulleys.
