Driving Backward
1. Move both motion-control levers to the center,
unlocked position.
2. Slowly pull the motion-control levers rearward ( Figure
22 ).

Stopping the Machine
To stop the machine, move the motion-control levers
to neutral, move both motion-control levers into the
N
EUTRAL
-
LOCK
position, disengage the power takeoff
(PTO), and turn the ignition key to the O
FF
position.
Set the parking brake when you leave the machine; refer to
Setting the Parking Brake (page 15) .
Note:
Remember to remove the key from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
Children or bystanders may be injured if they move
or attempt to operate the machine.
Always remove the ignition key and set the parking
brake when leaving the machine unattended.
