Assembling the Operator
Shield
Parts needed for this procedure:

Shield support (1 bend)—200/300 Series or TX
400/500 Series
2 Shield support (2 bends)—TX 1000 only
1 Shield
8 Bolt (1/4 x 1-1/2 inch)
8 Washer
8 Locknut (1/4 inch)
Assembling the Shield
Note:
Use the shield supports with 1 bend for
200/300 series or TX 400/500 series traction units.
Use the shield supports with 2 bends for TX 1000
traction units.
1. Slide the shield supports into the pockets in the
shield brackets on the traction unit (
Figure 8 or
Figure 9 ).
