Releasing the Parking Brake
1.
Push down on the brake pedal (Fig. 2).
Note:
The parking brake lever should release.
2.
Gradually release the brake pedal.
Positioning the Seat
The seat can move forward and backward. Position the seat
where you have the best control of the tractor and are most
comfortable.

Raise the seat and loosen the adjustment knobs (Fig. 3).

Move the seat to the desired position and tighten the
knobs.
Headlights
The headlights are an integral function of the ignition
switch. Turn the ignition key clockwise to the Lights
position.
Using the Blade Control (PTO)
The blade control (PTO) knob engages and disengages
power to the blades.
Engaging the Blades
1.
Depress the brake pedal to stop the tractor.
2.
Pull the blade control (PTO) knob out to the Engaged
position (Fig. 4).

Note:
The blade control (PTO) light on the dash turns on
when you engage the blades (PTO) as shown in Figure 5.

Disengaging the Blades
1.
Depress the brake pedal to stop the tractor.
2.
Push the blade control (PTO) knob into the Disengaged
position (Fig. 4).
