Insert the height-adjustment pin into the 7.6 cm (3
inch) height-of-cut location.
7.
Release the transport lock and allow the deck to lower
to the cutting height.
8.
Raise the discharge chute.
9.
On both sides of the deck, measure from the level
surface to the front tip of the blade (Postion A) as
shown in
Note:
The measurement should read 7.6 mm (3
inches)

If needed, loosen the flanged locknut on the side of the
yoke and the jam nut on top.

Fine-tune the adjuster screw by turning it to get 7.6
mm (3 inch) height (

Note:
To increase the height, turn the adjuster
screw clockwise; to decrease the height, turn it
counterclockwise.

If the front deck links do not have enough adjustment
to achieve accurate cut height, loosen the 2 bolts at
the bottom of the height-of-cut plate to adjust the
single-point system (
).

If the deck is too low, tighten the single-point
adjustment bolt by rotating it clockwise. If the deck is
too high, loosen the single-point adjustment bolt by
rotating it counterclockwise (
Note:
Loosen or tighten the single-point adjustment
bolt enough to move the height-of-cut plate mounting
bolts at least 1/3 the length of the available travel in
their slots. This regains some up-and-down adjustment
on each of the 4 deck links.
