2. Install the tine shield. Align the slots on both
sides of the shield and insert the fasteners
before tightening them.
Important:
Ensure that the dirt shield is
between the engine-mount deck and tine
shield.

3. Install the tines to the desired position; refer to
Changing the Tilling Width (page 10) .
4. Install the upper handle assembly onto the lower
loop mount.
Note:
Install the bolts with the head facing
outward.

5. Rotate the handle to the desired position and
install the upper fasteners.
Note:
Use the front hole for the highest position;
use the rear hole for the lowest position. Install
the bolts with the head facing outward as shown
in
Figure 7 .
