Connecting the Pull Links to the
Machine

1.

Secure the 2 lift cylinder hoses to the underside of the
hydraulic tank with a cable tie or the R-clamp, the 3/8
x 1 inch bolt, and the sheet-metal nut supplied.

Note:

Make sure the hoses are not twisted and will

not contact any hot, sharp, or moving parts.

Start the engine and fully raise the deck. Stop the
engine and remove the key from the ignition switch.

Note:

Place a wood block or similar shim under each

link to hold it in the raised position (

Figure 20

).

3.

Align the pull link to the carrier frame and attach
the link with the retainer pin (

Figure 20

). Secure the

retainer pin to the frame with the shoulder screw
(

Figure 20

).

Slightly raise the front of the machine to remove the
wood block or similar shim from under each pull link.

Installing the Wire Harness

1.

Locate the fuse block and the ground block (

Figure 21

).

Attach the new wire harness as follows:

Attach the red wire to an available connector on
the fuse block.

Note:

If there is not an available connector on the

fuse block, install an additional block. A fuse block,
fuse and mounting nuts and bolts are included in
the loose parts.

Attach the black wire to the nearby ground block.

3.

Locate the 2 holes at the bottom of the fuse block
mounting plate (

Figure 22

).

4.

Mount the 3 relays to the fuse block mounting plate
with 2 washer-head screws (#10 x 3/4 inch) and 2 nuts
(#10); refer to

Figure 22

5.

Plug the wire harness connectors into the relays.

6.

Unplug the connectors at the front of the transmission
near the oil filter (
