Installing the Fuel Tank and
the Fuel Line

Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure

1. Slide the end of the fuel line onto the elbow fitting

(Figure 5).

2. Secure the fuel line in place with the fuel line clamp

(Figure 5).

3. Hook the plastic clips on the front of the fuel tank

onto the fuel tank bracket (Figure 6).

4. Secure the bottom of the fuel tank to the fuel tank

bracket by installing the self-tapping screws from the
bottom.

Torque the screws to 40 to 50 in-lb (4.5

to 5.6 N-m). Do not overtighten the screws.
