Filling the Crankcase with

Oil

No Parts Required

Procedure

The engine crankcase is shipped without oil.

You must ﬁll it with approximately 30 ounces
(0.88 l) of oil before starting the engine. Refer
to Checking the Engine Oil Level in Operation,
page 12 for oil speciﬁcations and instructions.
