3. Route the blade brake cable around the outside of
the handle and attach the cable end (Figure 6).

4. Route the self-propel drive cable around the outside
of the handle, thread the cable through the opening
on the left hand side of the housing, and attach the
cable end (Figure 7).

5. Ensure that the self-propel drive is properly adjusted.
Refer to Adjusting the Self-propel Drive in the
Maintenance section.
6. Route the throttle cable around the outside of the
handle, insert the cable jacket in the cable clamp,
and attach the cable end to the throttle lever on the
engine (Figure 6 and Figure 8).
