7. Remove and save the 2 flange nuts securing the air
cleaner (Figure 2).
8. Remove and discard the air cleaner and gasket from
the carburetor.

Procedure
1. Install a new gasket and intake pipe onto the
carburetor using the flange nuts you removed
previously (Figure 3), and torque the flange nuts to
52 to 69 in-lb (6 to 7.5 N-m).

2. Install the new breather tube between the intake pipe
and the engine (Figure 4).
