Installing the Li+ Diagnostic
Wire Harness
Perform the following 3 short procedures to install the Li+
diagnostic wire harness:
Prepare the Machine
1.
Park the machine on a level surface and move the
traction lever to the N
EUTRAL
position.
2.
Rotate the key switch to the O
FF
position and then
remove the key from the switch.
3.
Disconnect the battery pack. Refer to
the Battery Pack (page 17)
.
4.
Disconnect the main wire harness P34 connector

Raise the Battery Pack and Disconnect
the P01 Connector
1.
Remove the nut that secures the rear of the battery
platform to the machine frame (
).

Loosen the 2 pivot bolts a half turn each (

Raise the back of the battery platform until the locking
holes in the front of the battery platform and frame
align (
).
4.
Insert a 6 mm (1/4 inch) steel rod (e.g., screwdriver)
through the locking holes to hold the battery platform
in the raised position (
).
5.
On the bottom of the battery pack, disconnect the
battery wire harness P01 connector by rotating the
locking collar counterclockwise approximately half a
turn (
).
