2.5. Alignment of the bolt-making machine / bar feeder

Hard floor, without vibration. If not, make a base in cement. Place the entire machine on the 3
levelling components ( figure 2 ) that were delivered with the machine.

Level the machine carefully with a precision level placed on the machined "A" face. ( figure 2 ). This
face is accessible by lifting the upper cover of the control frame.

Place the cabinet against the tower ( figure 2 ) and put in the P pivot liaison ( figure 2 ).

Replace the lifting rings with the screws and joints provided for this.

Connect the catches according to the data in chapter 2.7.1.1. .

The reel support, which serves the accessories cabinet, must be affixed solidly to the floor with the
4 bolts.

Before setting the machine and its rear support into permanent position, mount the reel and
check carefully the level and barfeeder tube horizontal alignment. Setting the height is done
using a "B" split flange ( figure 3 ) located on the reel's rear support.

Set the guide bar protections in place and connect their protections.

The machine's displacement drawings SAS 16.6 are shown in chapter 1.2., figures 2 à 7 .
