Check and top up the

battery’s fluid level

 Warning!

!

  Regularly check the fluid level of

acid-filled batteries.

!

  Open all cell plugs

!

  If the fluid level is too low fill up

cells with distilled water up to
mark

!

 Close cell plugs

!

  Charge the battery

Check the tyre air pressure

!

  The air pressure in the rear tyres

must be set to 6 bar.

Changing wheels

 Danger!

Preparations

!

  Stand sweeper on a flat surface

!

  Turn off key switch and remove

the key

!

  Wear warning clothing when

performing repair work on public
streets where it is dangerous
because of moving traffic .

!

  Check that the ground is stable

!

  Protect the machine additionally

from moving with a wheel chock

Recommended express
assistance:

!

  Check the tyre tread for

imbedded objects

!

  Remove the objects

!

  Use a suitable, commercially

available tyre repair agent

Notes:

Comply with the recommendations
of the respective manufacturers
Continuing the journey is possible if
the recommendations of the product
manufacturer are observed
Change the tyre or the wheel as
soon as possible

!

  Unscrew wheel bolt

!

  Place the jack in position

Jack fixing point (rear wheels)

!

  Lift the machine with the jack

!

  Remove wheel bolt

!

  Slide the wheel off

!

  Position the spare wheel

!

  Screw in wheel bolt

!

  Lower the machine with the jack

!

  Tighten wheel bolt

Note:

Use an appropriate, commercially
available jack and a chock

Checking the vacuum

system

 Adding a sweeping system is

with the aid of a vacuum system.

 If the side brush or the main

brush cannot be lowered check
the vacuum canisters for proper
connection of the hose lines, if
applicable re-connect the hose
concerned.

 The vacuum system is leaky if

the side brush or the main brush
still cannot be lowered. In this
case after-sales service must be
contacted.

Note:

The vacuum pump operates only if
vacuum is built-up in the system.
