Receiving the Stand 

Your PCNC 1100 Stand is delivered in a two wooden 
shipping crates banded together with steel bands.  A 
pallet jack or fork truck can be used to transport the 
crates to the installation site. 

WARNING!  Steel bands can be dangerous.   

Use care and wear leather gloves and eye protection 
when cutting the bands on the crate (Figure 1). The 
smaller upper crate contains sheet metal components.  
Remove these and store off to the side.     

 

The larger bottom crate contains the base and splash 
guards.    Remove the crate sides, plastic covering and 
cloth straps. Set aside the splash guards. Locate the 
coolant tank in a side compartment.    Most of the smaller 
components will be stored in the tank as shown in Figure 
2.
 Set the coolant tank aside. 

 

 

Next, with 2 people turn the base on its side.    Then 
unbolt the base from the pallet as shown in Figure 3.
