INSTALLATION

2.3.2 CONNECT

OUTPUT(

) AND OUTPUT(

)

Connect the work-piece

to

Output(

),

not Loose

.

Connect the Cutting torch to

Output(

) or

connector of the Cutting torch,

not Loose

.

Connect the air tube to the copper nozzle of the back

panel

. The air supply system should be well connected in

order to keep air output, which is of critical importance for cutting operation.

Be sure tha t connection s are correct and not Loose.

Turn on

the power

supply

ON/OFF switch.

Set CHECK AIR

Check Air

flow

and pressure !

Set CUTTING,the cutting process will be carried out by using the

torch

switch.

To increase the quality of cutting, earth clamp on the work piece should be clamped tightly and as close to the

cutting area as possible.

2.3.3 CONNECT TO THE REGULATOR AND AIR SUPPLY

Connect the air regulator to the Cutting machine. Connect the air regulator to the air supply.

Connect one end of the air regulator to the air supply inlet of the cutting power source. The other end is for

connecting the hose to the air supply.

Screw the air hose pressure regulator and open the air supply.

Setting of the Air flow with the adjustment valve of the regulator.

Usually,the valve is about 0.17m

3

/min

.

3. USAGE INFORMATION

3.1 THE POWER SOURCE FRONT PANEL

On the front control panel of the cutting power source, there are Pilot lights, check air and cutting switch,Cutting

current controller,etc.

A: Cutting current

adjustment knob

or controller.

LED1

POWER

: Pilot light of the power supply in the ON/OFF power source switch. The LED1 is lighted

when the

switch is ON.

LED2

O.H

: Pilot light of Over-heating , Over current or voltage.The LED2 is lighted with thermal overload

protection or over current.LED2 is on, in case that this cutting equipment is of overheating protection status.

Overheating arises if this cutting power source is overloaded. This cutting equipment automatically restarts

when the temperature inside of this cutting equipment has fallen, and pilot lamp is off.

LED3

LOW INPUT

:

P

ilot light of low

power

supply voltage or low voltage

protection

.

The LED3 is lighted

when the

power

supply voltage

is

low

.

CAUTION :

In case that this cutting equipment is of over current or voltage protection status, LED2 is on. At

this time ,Switch of the cutting power source must be turn off, and then Switch should be turn on,the cutting power

source would

be able to cut.

3.2 ADJUSTING THE AIR FLOW FOR THE CUTTING PROCESS

Setting of the Air flow with the adjustment valve.

Usually,the valve is above 0.17m

3

/min

.

3.3

Arc starting for the cutting process

Press the torch switch

.

The arc is made between the work and the cutting torch, and cutting operation is

accessible.

3.4 ADJUSTING THE CUTTING CURRENT

The cutting current is selected according to the thickness of the work piece.
