5.  PREPARATION AND FUNCTIONS

Connect the battery according to the battery type purchased. 

RL-SV1S (Dry battery type)

• How to install dry cell batteries

Remove the DB-74 battery holder by turning 
battery holder knob to "OPEN" side.

Install the new 4xD size dry cell batteries (alkaline) 
referring to the illustration on the DB-74 battery 
holder.*1), *2), *3)

3

Install the battery holder. Tighten the battery cover 
knob to "LOCK" side.
