2. Take the steering wheel control interface and attach the 14-way steering wheel harness connector to
the relevant side.
3. Take the patch lead and only attach ‘
Key 1
’, ‘
Key 2
’ and ‘
Ground
’ to the corresponding wires on the
stereo. When done, connect the 12-way connector to the steering wheel control interface.
4. Connect the antenna adapter to both the pre-existing
vehicle connection
(Fig 6.)
and to the back of the new
stereo
(Fig 7.)

5. Attach the red & white RCA connectors from the stereo wiring harness to the new stereo.
6. Attach the additional wiring on the harness to the back of the stereo:
Pink
- Speed Pulse
Green
- Park Brake
Purple
- Reverse
Blue
- Amp Remote*
*The blue wire is needed for vehicles where 12V amp remote is not located in the harness.
7. When all the above wires (and any additional accessories) have been connected, finally make the power
connections between the stereo and the vehicles pre-existing connector.
