Apply the two sensors to a piece of wood and press
either the LOW or HIGH button. Read the result on the
diodes. If you pressed the LOW button, the result will
be displayed on the left side (see panel). If you
pressed the HIGH button, the result will be displayed
on the right side. Remember the following when using:
1. If you pressed the LOW button the result will be
less than 7 % if no diodes light. If only the last diode
lights, the result will be 15% or over. Try again using
the HIGH button and check the result.
2. If you pressed the HIGH button the result will be
less than 16% if no diodes light. Try again using the
LOW button and check the result. If only the last
diode lights, the result will be 35% or over.
3. If two diodes alongside each other light when you
press either button, find the average of the two
results. You can also modify the result depending on
how strongly the diodes light.
