caused by the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the prod-
uct is not permitted (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The LED magnifier lamp must not get damp or wet. Make sure that only the
sponge in the associated storage space may be damp/wet.
• Never use the magnifying glass to look at bright light sources such as LEDs or
lasers. This can lead to eye damage.
• Always cover the magnifying glass with the plastic cover provided when it’s not
in use, otherwise there is a risk of fire due to the burning glass effect in direct
sunshine.
Therefore do not leave the magnifying glass unattended; Keep the product in a
place out of the reach of children.
• Do not apply force on the tool (e.g., when adjusting the alligator clips of the “3rd
hand” or the LED magnifier lamp).
• Caution, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Place the product only on a level, sturdy and sufficiently large surface. Protect
valuable furniture surfaces by using a suitable mat to prevent scratches, pressure
points or discolourations.
• Always ensure that the product cannot tip over. Attach therefore only light objects
(for example, a circuit board) to the alligator clips of the “3rd hand”.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical department or another specialist.
Notes on batteries/rechargeable batteries
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; there is a risk that they could be
swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged normal/rechargeable batteries coming into contact with the skin can
cause acid burns, for this reason use suitable safety gloves.
• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Ob-
jects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids may be severely damaged. Therefore,
keep batteries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.
• Make sure that batteries/rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited, dismantled or thrown
into fire. They might explode!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a danger of explosion! Charge
only rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/- signs).
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g., storage), remove the batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Old batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damage to the product;
loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Always replace the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries; only use batteries/re-
chargeable batteries of the same type/manufacturer and the same charging state (do not mix
charged batteries with half-charged or flat batteries/rechargeable batteries).
• Never mix normal batteries with rechargeable batteries. Use either batteries or rechargeable
batteries.

the chapter “Disposal”.

LED Magnifier lamp with clips and
soldering iron bracket

Intended use
The product serves as a tool that helps you with soldering works, for instance, on electronic
circuits. A large magnifying glass allows the soldering of small components thanks to the 2x
magnification. Two integrated LEDs illuminate the work area. The power is supplied by 3 bat-
teries (or rechargeable batteries) of type AAA/micro (not included in the delivery, to be ordered
separately).
The so-called “3rd hand” (two alligator clips) is used to fasten a circuit board, a component, or
similar, so that you can use both your hands when working.
Also integrated is a soldering iron holder and a shelf space for a sponge, which is used to clean
the soldering tip of a soldering iron.
The LED magnifier lamp, the alligator clips of the “3rd hand“ and also the soldering iron are
adjustable and can be fasten easily by means of wing nuts.
Please read these operating instructions carefully to ensure safe use and operation of the
product. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you pass the
product on to a third party, please pass on these operating instructions as well.

Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
