1 Intended use
This product is designed to magnify and illuminate small objects during precise work. The product can
be used on its own, over glasses or over contact lenses. It is intended exclusively for magnifying at small
distances and is not intended for magnifying at long distances. The correct way to wear the magnifying
glasses and the correct object and lens distance are described in these operating instructions. Follow these
instructions to avoid eye damage and to achieve the desired magnification function.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. Improper use
can cause injuries, damage to property or other hazards.
This product complies with statutory, national and European regulations. For safety and approval purposes,
you must not rebuild and/or modify the product.

5.4 Usage
If it is no longer possible to use the product safely, discontinue use and prevent unauthorised use. DO
NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe use can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
– Shows visible signs of damage (e.g. if the temples are damaged),
– is no longer working properly,

To prevent eye damage, do not use the product as a replacement for glasses or contact lenses. The
product is only intended for magnifying small objects and not as a medical visual aid.
Do not point the LEDs in your eyes or in the eyes of other people, as this may cause eye damage or
dangerous glare.
Risk of serious eye damage! Never use the lenses to look directly into bright light sources.
Always cover the lenses when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause a fire, as each lens acts like a
burning glass.
5.5 Batteries
Pay attention to correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
If you do not plan to use the product for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent damage
from leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns if they come into contact with your
skin. Always use suitable protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
