Operation
Do not look directly into the sun or a bright light source when wearing the magnifying lens. Doing so can result
in permanent eye damage.
a)
Insert/Replace Batteries
•
Locate the battery compartment
(6)
on the underside of the LED housing.
•
Use the included plus head screwdriver to remove each screw.
After removing each screw, place it somewhere where it will not
get lost.
•
Insert 3 x 1.5 V LR 1130 batteries, matching polarities as shown in the
compartment.
•
Cover the battery compartment
(6)
then gently replace the screws.
b) Lenses
Lens magnification and corresponding focal distances are: 1.5x (333 mm), 2.5 x (200 mm), 3.5 x (144 mm). The focal range
decreases as the lens magnification increases.
•
When attaching and removing each lens, hold with a soft lint free cloth to avoid fingerprints and prevent
scratching.
•
Make sure each lens is securely fastened to the lens brackets before letting go.
•
Correct focal range depends on individual eyesight and whether eyeglasses are being worn.
• Select the desired lens
(4)
then gently push into the lens bracket until it locks into place.
The curved side of the lens should be facing away from your eyes
when wearing.
•
To remove the lens
(4)
, carefully pull away from the middle.
c) Adjust Nose Bridge Pads
Do not use force to over adjust the metal nose bridge or adjust too frequently, this may cause it to break.
•
Gently adjust the metal nose bridge
(5)
in small increments, then test for fit.
•
The frame should sit comfortably on your nose, at the right height, without sliding off.
d) LED Light
Do not use force to adjust the lighting angle, this may cause damage.
•
Use the LED ON/OFF switch
(1)
to activate/deactivate the LED light
(2)
.
Care and Cleaning
•
Turn LED light OFF before cleaning. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions
as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
•
Use a lens cleaning cloth for cleaning the lens. Alternatively, use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth or a dust brush. If
necessary, you can moisten the cloth with a little lukewarm water.
•
When cleaning the lens with a cleaning agent, make sure not to directly apply the cleaner on the lens. Always apply the
cleaning agent directly to the cloth first.
•
When cleaning, do not apply too much force on the lens or housing in order to avoid damage.
