b) Rechargeable battery
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery
might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable
battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you are not using the product. Due to the
rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the rechargeable
battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is normal that a
certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
Charging the rechargeable battery
• Remove the battery compartment from the top of the handle.
• Connect the plug to a USB port. A green LED next to the plug lights up during charging.
• The light goes off when charging is complete. Disconnect the plug from the USB port.
• Replace the battery compartment in the handle.
Charge the battery as soon as the light visibly dims or the LED no longer turns on.
Operation
• Press the button to turn on the LED. The LED lights up at the highest brightness level.
• Press the button again. The LED lights up at medium brightness level.
• Press the button again to turn off the LED.
Cleaning and care
• Besides occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free. Do not loosen the screws inside the handle.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Never submerge the product in water to clean it.
• When cleaning, do not apply too much force on the lens or housing in order to avoid scratching.
• Use a lens cleaning cloth for cleaning the lens. Alternatively, use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth or a
dust brush. If necessary, you can moisten the cloth with a little lukewarm water.
• When cleaning the lens with a cleaning agent, make sure not to directly apply the cleaner on the lens.
Always apply the cleaning agent directly to the cloth first.
• Clean the housing with a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth.
• Store the product in the protective bag when it is not in use.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

The product is intended for magnifying the view of objects. There is an LED located underneath the lens
for illuminating any objects viewed. The product is powered via a built-in battery that recharges via USB.
The product is suitable for use in dry areas only.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this

a) General
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it

Never use the magnifier to stare directly into sunlight or other strong light sources and do not
use it near them. This poses a risk of loss of eyesight!

If used improperly the magnifier can act as a burning glass. This poses a fire hazard! Do not
leave the magnifier in direct sunlight.

Do not use the magnifier when moving around, since you might miss and hence stumble
over obstacles.
•
Do not touch the lens with your fingers (especially finger nails) or sharp/pointed objects.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
