
4.7 Effects
Rayblaster contains a series of internal effects that influence the whole sound. By clicking
on the effect name, you can open a drop down list of all the effects, then select one to load
it into Rayblaster. There are 2 effect slots to choose from. The effects are :
Reverb Hall - A large Reverb simulating a Hall designed for general purpose use.
Size: Adjusts the size of the simulated space.
Damp: Sets the amount of time between the direct signal and the reverberated signal.
Diffuse: Controls how diffused the reverb reflections are.
Predelay: Sets the amount of time between the direct signal and the reverberated
signal.
Reverb Cathedral – Modelling a huge space of a Cathedral with dense reflections.
Size: Adjusts the size of the simulated space.
Damp: Controls the amount of attenuation of the high frequencies of the reverb signal.
Diffuse: Controls how diffused the reverb reflections are.
Predelay: Sets the amount of time between the direct signal and the reverberated
signal.
Reverb Room – Simulating a small room with a small number of reflections.
Size: Adjusts the size of the simulated space.
Damp: Sets the amount of time between the direct signal and the reverberated signal.
Diffuse: Controls how diffused the reverb reflections are.
Predelay: Sets the amount of time between the direct signal and the reverberated
signal.
